|The Elizabeth Township Historical Society is a non-profit organization with an all volunteer staff, and the fees for research are reasonably priced and go toward maintaining the library. Members can access the library free of charge, while non-members are charged only $5 for a day of research. Non-members are offered a membership for only $25 if they wish, and can come to the library for any of their research needs for no charge after that, during that calendar year. (Adjustments will be made for end of the year requests.)
Copies made when researching in the building are $.15/page for members and $.25/page for non-members.
Limited historical and genealogical research at the Elizabeth Township Historical Society through the mail is done by our resident genealogist, Mrs. Ellen J. Ballas.
All requests must come in writing accompanied by a check or money order made out to the Elizabeth Township Historical Society

Our fees for members of the Society are $10.00 per hour plus postage and 15 cents for each paged copied. The amount sent will determine the amount of time spent on the search. We suggest to initially send at least $2.00 for copies & postage along with the hourly fee. If additional monies are required for copies, because of the amount of information, we will notify you of this fact.
Our fees for non-members are $15.00 per hour plus postage and 25 cents for each page copied. The amount sent will determine the amount of time spent on the search. We suggest to initially send at least $2.00 for copies & postage along with the hourly fee. Also include your name, address, contact email as well as your phone number in case we have any further questions regarding your research needs, extra hours, etc.
